Cyber Security Engineer

Position: Cyber Security Engineer Compensation: $100,000 - $140,000 annually, depending on experience Location: Midland, Texas Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:\tDevelop and maintain security policies and procedures\tDesign and implement security solutions like firewalls and intrusion detection systems\tConduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments\tLead incident response efforts including containment and recovery\tMonitor security systems and logs for incidents\tCollaborate with IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure\tResearch and evaluate new security technologies\tProvide security awareness training to employees Required Qualifications & Experience:\tBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field\t5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering\tExperience in security policy and procedure development\tProven ability to design and implement security solutions\tStrong understanding of threat analysis and incident response\tFamiliarity with NIST CSF and ISO 27001 standards\tTechnical expertise in security tools like Firewall Management and SIEM\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\tStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Skills & Experience:\tCybersecurity work experience in OT/Industrial Controls Systems environments\tRelevant certifications such as CISSP or Security+ Perks & Benefits:\tThis opportunity includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package—details will be shared during later stages of the hiring process.
