Role Overview The Solutions Architect acts as a highly effective and consultative professional, serving as a trusted advisor to account teams, partners (OEMs), and customers at both technical and managerial levels.
You will develop and sustain relationships with customer technical staff, identifying opportunities and developing solutions aligned with their mission and support requirements.
This role actively contributes to specific opportunities and accounts, leveraging broad portfolio knowledge and technical specializations.
Key ResponsibilitiesConsultative Sales & Solution Development: Act as a trusted technical advisor, building relationships and identifying opportunities to develop solutions aligned with customer needs.Project Support: Assist with project scoping, developing Statements of Work (SoWs), and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs).OEM Collaboration: Work with OEM teams to enhance their awareness of the Client's services portfolio.Requirements Gathering & Planning: Conduct detailed requirements gathering and scoping sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.Resource & Tool Development: Create work breakdown structures, preliminary resourcing plans, and develop tools to streamline Integration Center work instructions, quality control, and the rapid generation of Bill-of-Materials (BoMs), Rough Order of Magnitudes (RoMs), and Level of Efforts (LoEs) for Services Programs.Design Validation: Validate designs and processes through field pilots.Industry & Product Knowledge: Develop relationships with OEM engineering teams to stay current on the latest products and trends.Knowledge Sharing: Actively contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing initiatives.Internal Collaboration: Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal teams including Account Management, ATC, Inside Sales Reps, Supply Chain Project Management Organization, Integration Center Engineering, Services Engineering team, and Specialty Engineering Teams.
Skills & Experience RequiredCommunication & Sales Acumen: Excellent communication, presentation, technical sales, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong relationships with customers and partners.Self-Driven & Goal-Oriented: A business-minded, self-driven, and goal-oriented professional capable of successfully bringing projects to closure with minimal direction and oversight.Extensive Experience:Minimum 5 years of related experience defining, selling, and delivering large-scale services engagements.3 years of progressive experience as a Technical Specialist, System Engineer, or comparable role.Sales Consulting & Partnership: Strong sales consulting experience and the ability to effectively partner with sales, engineering teams, and OEMs.Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to various levels of the organization, including technical personnel and business managers.Professionalism: Possess professional maturity and presence.Technical & Project Competencies: Competency in analytical problem-solving, customer/partner relationships, network products and technology expertise, and project management.Certifications: Industry Certifications are desired across relevant disciplines (AV, Compute, Data Center/Infrastructure, Network, Security, Storage, and Wireless).Networking: Solid networking skills at a CCNP level are essential.
