Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Sourcing & Contracts Manager to oversee the development, negotiation, and management of complex contracts for a variety of IT-related projects for a large client in the construction industry. This is a long-term contract position based in Westerville, Ohio, requiring strong skills in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and deliver value for the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, negotiate, and manage various types of contracts, including Master Supplier Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, License Agreements, Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Lead the contract red-lining process, ensuring alignment with legal, business, and vendor needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and submit competitive proposals for state and local government clients.
• Manage procurement contracts from initiation to execution, resolving contract-related issues and ensuring compliance with agreed terms.
• Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives for major IT procurement projects, including vendor vetting and selection.
• Drive contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, mitigate risks, and maximize value for the organization.
• Support the Project Management Office (PMO) and internal stakeholders in achieving project goals.
• Implement best practices for contract management and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in contract management, procurement, and IT sourcing.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other project management tools.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with risk mitigation strategies and best practices in contract management.
• Relevant certifications in contract management or sourcing are a plus.
