Genesys Cloud CX Developer

Location: Hybrid – Des Moines, IA (2 days/week onsite)

Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Genesys Cloud CX Developer to join a financially stable and growing organization. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with cutting-edge technology in customer experience innovation. Compensation and Benefits:

Salary up to $130K, plus a 10% bonus

Comprehensive benefits package, including immediate benefits, profit sharing, and 401(k)

Relocation assistance available (10% of salary)

Enjoy flexibility with 2.5-day weekends – company closes every Friday at 1:00 PM CT

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate the Genesys Cloud CX platform with key backend systems and applications

Create and program custom Genesys flows, integrations, and omnichannel solutions (Chat, IVR, Chatbot, email, etc.)

Optimize customer interaction and streamline business processes through system integration

Code deployment using CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting tools

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience with Genesys Cloud CX platform and related tools

Proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD pipelines for automation (must-have)

Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JavaScript

Experience with any backend development language (e.g., Python, C#, .NET, Java)

Working knowledge of AWS Lambda

SQL experience is a plus

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with AI-driven features like Genesys AI/CoPilot Conversation IVR

Certifications in relevant tech stacks (preferred, not required)

• Hands-on experience with the Genesys Cloud CX platform and related tools.

• Proficiency in Terraform and CI/CD pipeline development.

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript and familiarity with APIs.

• Experience with backend development languages such as Python, C#, Java, or ASP.NET.

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including AWS Lambda.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Relevant technical certifications are a plus but not required.
