We are conducting a confidential search for a reputable international manufacturing organization seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic in Columbus, OH. This is a key role supporting daily plant operations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment reliability and workplace safety.

️ Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and non-routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant equipment.

Ensure operational uptime through troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative care.

Support project installations, plant upgrades, and equipment relocations.

Maintain safety and equipment compliance per operational standards.

Use tools including welders, forklifts, and diagnostic devices.

Minimum Qualifications

Technical certification (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing.

️ Ability to weld (TIG/MIG/Plasma) and operate various shop tools.

️ Working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.

Experience operating forklifts and participating in project installations.
