Lead Business System Analyst

Lead Business Systems Analyst Columbus, OH (Hybrid) Contract-to-hire We are seeking two Lead Business Systems Analysts to join a team focused on delivering data-driven solutions within an enterprise data warehouse (EDW) environment.

This is a hands-on, analysis-heavy role ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and proven leadership experience in business systems analysis.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with SQL and other databases, leading discussions, and coordinating across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, the product owner, and technical team membersTranslate business needs into detailed technical requirements and build/manage the product backlogWork in an Agile environment to develop Features and User StoriesFacilitate backlog refinement sessions, ensuring user stories are clear, detailed, and prioritizedLead requirements-gathering sessions and create source-to-target data mapping documentationConduct detailed analysis of existing SQL Server databases and EDW to identify gapsPrepare usable spreadsheets and documentation for EDW usersCollaborate with Product Owners and SMEs to refine Epics and create actionable User StoriesIdentify and escalate any impediments through the Scrum MasterActively participate in risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue resolution Preferred Skills:Strong SQL and database analysis skills (SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, Snowflake)Experience leading/facilitating requirements sessions and technical discussionsPrior lead or senior-level BSA experience preferredSelf-starter with the ability to coordinate work across teams and build strong business relationshipsAbility to dig into data and perform complex analysis independentlyFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum practicesNice to have - experience with Snowflake, DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, or TableauExposure to enterprise data warehousing concepts ABOUT EIGHT ELEVEN: Eight Eleven Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
