Soarian Revenue Cycle Consultant Pay Range: $40/hour to $65/hour Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Soarian Revenue Cycle Consultant to join our Revenue Cycle Applications team.
Under the guidance of department leadership and senior analysts, the Revenue Cycle Applications Analyst I will support the design, development, implementation, and optimization of revenue cycle information systems including Soarian Financials, PBAR, Cerner, MedSeries 4, and other related technologies.
This role acts as both a technical and functional resource, working closely with hospital leadership, clinical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and continual improvement of the organization's revenue cycle systems.
You'll also be responsible for data integrity, reporting, system administration, end-user support, and training.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to support and enhance revenue cycle systems including Soarian Financials, PBAR, Cerner, PatientKeeper, and more.Perform system configuration, administration, and support activities, ensuring data integrity and system security.Develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports using tools such as Soarian Reporting, IBM Showcase, QlikView, Cerner CCL, and OnDemand.Serve as a liaison between end-users and technical teams, addressing service requests, enhancement needs, and system troubleshooting.Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and conversions, including related training and documentation.Assist in analyzing user workflows, identifying gaps, and designing solutions that enhance operational and financial performance.Support system optimization initiatives and contribute to ongoing performance improvement activities.Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and healthcare regulations as they relate to revenue cycle systems.Provide support for on-call rotation and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Education:Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required.
Experience:2+ years of relevant experience in IT support and/or healthcare business operations.Experience or familiarity with systems such as:Soarian Financials, Cerner, PBAR, MedSeries 4, Change Healthcare, nThrive (MedAssets), 3M, PatientKeeper, Relay Assurance Plus, VisiQuate, GE Centricity.Understanding of Revenue Cycle functions such as scheduling, registration, patient accounting, billing, and HIM coding.Prior experience in Ambulatory or Acute Care healthcare environments preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills in dynamic and fast-paced settings.
Preferred SkillsBasic knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Exposure to Agile project methodologies.Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.Ability to support end-user training and documentation creation.
