Locum Physician (MD/DO) - General Surgery in Pendleton, OR

Seeking a qualified General Surgery MD for locum tenens coverage at a 25-bed, faith-based hospital in Pendleton, OR.

The position involves a mix of clinic, surgical, and hospital call duties, with shifts including clinic hours on Mondays, OR procedures on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and surgeries on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Weekend 24-hour call is required.

The provider will see approximately 14-16 patients daily in clinic, with a low inpatient admission rate of 2 per week and about 10 outpatient surgeries weekly.

Board certification is required; prescriptive authority is not necessary.

Support staff handle around 500 surgeries annually.

The assignment starts in June and is ongoing.
