Cap Management Coord LPN

The Capacity Management Coordinator oversees patient flow within the hospital and manages transfers to optimize throughput.

Responsibilities include facilitating bed placement for admissions, discharges, and transfers, while collaborating with nursing, case management, and support departments.

Sets capacity targets based on staffing and bed needs, and collects clinical information to match patient needs with available resources.

Works closely with multiple departments and external facilities to identify barriers and improve patient throughput.

Requirements include a practical nursing diploma, an active LPN license in Missouri, and BLS certification within 90 days.

Preferred experience includes five years of clinical practice and at least one year in emergency, case management, or transfer services. Skills needed are strong communication, problem-solving, computer proficiency, and multitasking abilities.
