The Radiologic Technologist provides specialized support in interventional radiology, assisting cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and neuro/interventional radiologists in diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures.
Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, circulating, and ensuring sterile technique, with knowledge of X-ray, hemodynamic monitoring, and imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound.
Additional duties involve patient greeting, education, room turnover, and radiation safety checks.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Ohio radiologic licensure, ARRT registration, and BLS certification.
