School Based Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Elk Grove, CA

A school district in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with at least 1+ years of occupational therapy experience for the upcoming school year.

The COTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) or supervisor onsite.

Responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing intellectual disorders, performing student screenings, developing intervention plans, and educating students and families about disorders.

Maintaining detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress is required.

Previous COTA experience, especially in a school setting, is preferred.

Must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid COTA certification license.
