Sign Language Interpreter

Seeking a Sign Language Interpreter with at least 1+ years of experience for a full-time, onsite role supporting a 4th grade student.

Provide real-time ASL interpretation during lessons and activities, ensuring effective communication.

Support the student's social and academic development throughout the school day.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and IEP team to meet the student's needs.

Maintain confidentiality and adapt to the student’s evolving requirements.

Qualifications include proficiency in ASL, a valid Illinois SLI license or ISBE certification, and school-based experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential. The position runs from August 18, 2025, to June 1, 2026, with early release Fridays, and is 100% onsite.
