Responsibilities
On an average day, you will:
Experiment with organizational data and propose ideas for Internal Audit and business users to leverage existing data in new, innovative ways
Apply innovative approaches when supporting and executing audit work during all stages of an audit, including conclusions and recommendations
Learn how to document assumptions, methodology, validation, and testing based on audit work performed
Develop and leverage business/analytical knowledge to participate in discussions with cross-functional teams to understand the business objectives and influence solution strategies Qualifications
Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university as rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or postdoctoral students and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship, or must have previously graduated from college and enrolled in a continuing education program
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business, or Information Technology, or a related field
Must be a self-starter and adaptable, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects, anticipate project needs, and discern work priorities
Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Tableau a plus
Willingness to learn and offer creative solutions to streamline work and apply AI and GenAI
Ability to work well with diverse populations, including gender, race, and sexual orientation
Exceptional verbal/written communication skills required
Ability to research and critically think, recognize assumptions, evaluate data, and draw conclusions

Hybrid Work Environment
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly range is $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, and $28 for Ph.D. candidates. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
