The Senior Controls Engineer role presents an exceptional opportunity to shape the automation infrastructure that powers semiconductor innovation. This position combines technical leadership with strategic system development, directly impacting Natcast's ability to advance semiconductor research and development through sophisticated control systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems
Develop and maintain control system architecture
Lead automation integration projects
Create comprehensive system documentation
Implement data acquisition strategies
Ensure cybersecurity compliance
Troubleshoot complex control system issues
Support capital projects and facility upgrades
Provide technical mentorship to engineering team
Optimize system performance and reliability
Develop control system standards and best practices
FAS (Fire Alarm Systems) Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
5-8 years of control systems engineering experience
Expertise in SCADA platforms (Wonderware, Ignition, GE iFIX)
Strong PLC programming skills (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
Experience with fieldbus systems and industrial networking
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes
Excellence in project management and documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrated success in team collaboration
Experience with system integration and optimization Preferred Skills and Experience:
Semiconductor fab automation experience
MES integration expertise
GAMP framework knowledge
Programming skills (Python, VBA, JavaScript)
PMP certification
Experience with IoT technologies
Cleanroom operations background
