Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for Locum Tenens

A facility in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage, starting in August and ongoing.

The hospital is a Level I trauma center with 59 beds and an annual ED volume of 101,692. Approximately 81% of hospital admissions originate from the ED, with 12% of ED patients admitted daily.

The ED team includes 23 physicians, with a fast track staffed by MDs and APPs handling 40% of volume.

The physician will supervise APPs and residents, working day shifts in a non-house coded EPIC system.

Board certification and prescriptive authority are required. The patient population is pediatrics, and support staff includes APPs and residents. This is a no-call, ongoing ER assignment.
