Senior Claims Specialist - Litigation

As a Senior Claims Specialist on our team, you will be instrumental in efficiently resolving complex injury claims that may involve attorney representation or litigation. You will engage with various professionals, including police officers, medical experts, and claimants, to gather critical information that will inform your decisions regarding coverage, liability, and the overall value of claims.

This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring you to be in the office about four days a month for essential meetings, training, and collaboration. You'll also benefit from ongoing support and coaching from a dedicated team. If you prefer to work more in the office, you are welcome to do so. The role is available in various Texas locations, including Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas/Fort Worth, El Paso, Houston, Lubbock, Mc Allen, and San Antonio.

Must-have qualifications:

Five years of relevant work experience with at least two years in claims handling, OR

Two years in claims handling and a bachelor's degree, OR

Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Preferred skills:

Proven ability to build rapport and achieve successful settlements.

Strong negotiation and customer service skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

Proficiency in analyzing coverage and liability.

Familiarity with discovery tools such as interrogatories, depositions, and document production.

Compensation:

Annual salary of $70,000-$93,500, based on experience.
