Forensic Nurse
Description:
Seeking a Forensic Nurse to provide expert forensic care, documentation, injury identification, and evidence collection.
Collaborates with medical teams, law enforcement, prosecutors, and victim advocates to ensure proper care and discharge.
May serve as a medical witness in judicial proceedings.
Maintains high standards in clinical practice, professional development, teamwork, ethics, and research.
Requires RN licensure, with a preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2 years of SANE experience.
Must complete a 40-hour SANE course within 45 days of hire; SANE-A certification is preferred.
Must demonstrate strong communication, leadership, critical thinking, time management, and multitasking skills.
