We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our systems and databases. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data into databases, spreadsheets, and proprietary systems
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and make necessary corrections
Maintain and update records, ensuring all information is current and accurate
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Verify data by comparing it to source documents
Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backups
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
Adhere to data integrity and security policies
Assist with other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office administration is a plus
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
Fast typing skills with a high degree of accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and data entry software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Basic knowledge of databases and office equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP or CRM systems
Knowledge of industry-specific data practices (e.g., finance, healthcare, logistics)
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
