Delivery Driver (CDL-B )

Job Description Job Title: Driver Reports To: Warehouse Manager Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Drives box truck interstate and intrastate making deliveries and pick-ups.Loads and unloads vehicle safely using pallet jack and hand truck/dolly.

Verifies items and quantities transferred and notates discrepancies.Adheres to all road and traffic regulations.

Maintains all required DOT and other certifications including Class B CDL and medical card.

Completes driving log and other documentation as required.Keeps vehicle clean and organized at all times.Follows routes and timetables provided.Delivers notices and collects signatures and payments when warranted.Other duties may be assigned as needed.Occasional overnights may be required and compensated for.

Qualifications:Education/Experience – one year of related experience or training.Class B Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card.Language – ability to communicate effectively.Computer Skills – no computer skills needed.Supervisory Responsibility – no supervisory responsibilities.Physical Demands – employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:Climate – extreme cold (non-weather & weather) to extreme heat (weather).Noise – moderate.
