POSITION SUMMARY:\n We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team.

In this role you will set up, operate, and clean CNC machines to ensure efficient operations, prevent contamination and achieve optimal utilization.

At ADDMAN you’ll be part of a skilled and growing team pushing the limits of aerospace and additive manufacturing.

\n\n LOCATION:\n 6721 Baymeadow Drive Glen Burnie, MD 21060 \n\n SHIFTS:\n 1st Shift / A Shift, Monday - Friday \n 7am-3:30pm EST\n\n 2nd Shift / B Shift, Monday - Friday \n 3:15pm-11:45pm EST\n 10% Shift Differential Pay\n\n ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\n\nSet up, operate, and perform daily maintenance on machines.\nStrictly adheres to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).\nMakes high-quality parts to specifications.\nHelps develop workable methods for machining operations.\nMakes proper use of machines, tooling, and inspection equipment.\nSets up, machines, and inspects all required operations.\nProficient at inspecting sizes and geometries down to .0002”.\nProvides leadership and guidance to less experienced machinists to upgrade their machining, inspection, and problem-solving skills.\n\nRequirements\n ITAR REQUIREMENTS:\n To conform to U.S.

export control regulations, the applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S.

Government.\n\n SKILL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nCommitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.\nProficient on manual and CNC machines, hand filing, and deburring process.\nProficient at programming and makes full use of all the CNC control functions.\nDevelops effective methods.

\nSets up tools and fixtures.\nSelects and uses inspection equipment and techniques.\nInterpret drawings and specifications.\nDetermines acceptability of quality of work.\nResolves process issues.\nDeburrs and finishes at a high level of quality.\nMeets time and quality standards.\nSeeks out additional duties when it is needed.\nBrings up potential problems with suggested solutions.\nPromotes a positive environment through what is said and by setting an example.\n\n QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nGraduate of related two-year vocational school program and three years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

\nAble to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities to exceed customer expectations.\nWorks independently, strong work ethic, is self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
