CNC Programmer

Our growing company is looking to fill the role of an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our tool room department team.

we provide molding, machining, design, mold building, and manufacturing services, for the aviation, defense, and commercial industries.An experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer is responsible for producing parts from engineering drawings using both CNC and manual toolroom equipment.

You need a minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming using Mastercam - preferred.CNC Machinist / Programmer Responsibilities:\nMachine parts, components, & fixtures per models or prints.\nProgram (2D & 3D) and set up CNC machines (HAAS) for production.\nMeasure and verify critical part features.\nOperate CNC machines, mills, lathes, saws, drill presses, grinders, EDM machines, and CAD/CAM software.\nAbility to complete jobs efficiently and with minimal errors.\nAbility to complete jobs quickly and efficiently with minimal errors.\nMaintain safe work area in a neat and orderly manner.\n\nCNC Machinist / Programmer Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; TMA certificate preferred.\nMechanical aptitude\nAbility to operate CNC machines, mills, lathes, saws, drill presses, grinders, EDM machines, and CAD/CAM software.\n5+ years of experience working with Mastercam - preferred.\nMust be able to regularly stand and sit throughout the shift with regular walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting of up to 50 lbs.\nProficient in 2D & 3D programming, CNC machining, and vertical milling.\nGood active learning, time management, communication, and organizational skills.\nAttention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.\nThe ability to work with minimal supervision.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.\nMust be able to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nA successful candidate must complete a background check.\nRequired to be a U.S.
