This position will perform basic research using molecular techniques (including staining non-human viruses for virus-bacteria experiments, and next generation sequencing library preparation), microbial cultivation of cyanobacteria and non-photosynthetic marine microbes; assist with lab ordering; assist with organization of lab data; assist in mentoring undergraduate students.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of relative experience.

The pay range for this job profile is $51,500.00 - $67,250.00. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
