MSHS Pacific Power Group seeks a skilled Project Engineer, Controls (Level 2) to lead complex control system retrofit projects, focusing on Woodward and other PLCs, HMI, and auxiliary systems. The role involves technical project execution, customer interaction, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across marine, power generation, and industrial markets. Key Responsibilities
Support sales through requirements gathering, scope definition, estimating, and quoting
Manage project lifecycle: BOM creation, design, documentation
Provide technical support to sales, service, and customers
Lead on-site field service and commissioning globally
Develop software for PLC, HMI, SCADA, and power management solutions
Train and support customers and stakeholders
Ensure quality, safety, and documentation standards Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering or related field + 3+ years relevant experience, or 7+ years practical experience in power/gen/automation
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office
Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, Woodward GAP, Function Block, ladder logic
Marine propulsion and power systems familiarity (preferred)
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
English fluency; Spanish a plus
Valid U.S. Drivers License and Passport Benefits
