As a Senior Injury Claims Specialist on our team, you will play a vital role in efficiently resolving injury claims. You will investigate complex and high-risk claims, often involving attorneys or additional litigation. This includes consulting with police officers, medical professionals, claimants, and other individuals involved in the incidents. The insights you gain will guide your decisions on coverage, liability, and assessment of the total claim value.
This is a hybrid role that requires you to report to the office about four days per month for essential meetings, training, and collaboration. You will also benefit from continuous coaching and support from a dedicated team. For those who prefer an in-office setting, you're welcome to work onsite more than four days per month.
Must-have qualifications
Five years of relevant work experience with at least two years in claims handling OR
Two years in claims handling and a bachelor's degree OR
Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.
Preferred skills
Ability to quickly establish rapport and effectively negotiate settlements.
Strong skills in negotiation and customer service.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing coverage and liability.
Experience in directing the use of discovery tools such as interrogatories, depositions, and document production.
Compensation
$65,500 - $87,300 per year.
Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
