Job Responsibilities:
Create PLC programs using ladder editor, function block diagrams, flow charts, etc. for web converting equipment and associated functions
Design and develop HMI applications
Design and review PLC network architecture
AC/DC drives configuration
Integration of Legacy drives, controls and equipment
Support the creation of technical product documentation and information
In-house testing of software and systems
Provide on-site assistance during system start-up and commissioning
Remote and on-site customer support
Assist Sales with pre-study analysis and reports
Interact with customers as required
Work closely with team members to complete projects and assignments
Other responsibilities assigned by manager
Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EHS&S programs Skills/Requirements:
BSEE or MSEE with Controls background
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in engineering
Knowledge of AC/DC drive systems, PCs, Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC
Previous experience with AutoCad,PLCs, AC and DC Drive systems and Supervisory control systems
Strong understanding of industrial controls networks
Web handling and converting equipment experience is preferred, but not a requirement
Problem solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
Strong technical aptitude and good analytical skills; organized and detail oriented
40% travel is required; this includes North-America and international travel
Experience with the following computer related skills: Windows, Word, Excel
Industrial programming software such as:
Ladder Logic
Control Block Diagramming
HMI configuration software
Drives interface/programming software
