Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement:
Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze data to monitor production performance and identify trends.
Use statistical methods to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
Project Management:
Assist in the planning and execution of engineering projects.
Coordinate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
Quality Control:
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
Work with the quality assurance team to develop and maintain quality control procedures.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Participate in safety audits and contribute to the development of safety protocols.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering role (internship experience considered).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
