Start Date: ASAP

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);

• Experience managing IT projects (3+ years);

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification;

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or other technology related field

Preferred:

• Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices;

• Experience with the Florida Information Technology Project Management and Oversight Standards - Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.;

• Experience with ISO / IEC 20000 Information Technology Service Management;

• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio);

• Experience with Microfocus PPM;

• Experience managing diverse stakeholders and project teams

Responsibilities:

• Project Management for the Cloud Migration project (50%) and other projects (50%)

Manage all aspects of the Cloud Migration project across the enterprise with little to no downtime;

• Time management: Planning, defining, and developing schedules, activities, estimating resources and activity durations; monitoring the progress of a project; comparing actual performance against planned/scheduled performance; adjusting schedule / resources to ensure that key milestones are reached;

• Cost management: Planning and estimating costs and determining budgets; managing the project's budget; identifying, planning, and coordinating required procurements;

• Quality management: Planning and identifying quality requirements; performing all aspects of managing quality; controlling the quality of deliverables;

• Human Resource management: Planning and identifying human resource needs; selecting, developing, managing, and coordinating a project team made up of multiple programs within Vendor staff;

• Communications management: Planning and managing all aspects of project communications; defining the content and the format of project communications / reports based on information requirements of specific stakeholders or groups; ensuring appropriate documentation is created/updated throughout the project processes; providing knowledge transfer to technical and non-technical staff as needed.
