Summary
This is the third of three levels in the Program Management series.
Incumbents coordinate the day to day activities and administrative duties of an assigned program or service. Responsibilities may include preparing grant proposals; maintaining and preparing operational and/or financial reports; developing and monitoring a budget; setting annual program goals; and may require supervisory responsibilities.

Provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of program goals, objectives, and activities.
Coordinate day-to-day operations of an assigned program
Ensure compliance with internal requirements and Federal, State and local laws, regulations, codes or standards.
Coordinate with other departments, and agencies to complete objectives.
Assess program and initiative outcomes.
Prepares grant proposals which may include identifying grant opportunities and preparing grant materials.
Prepare, maintain, update, and develop a variety of operational, statistical, and budget data, records, reports, and files.
Communicate with the public to promote program objectives and outcomes.
May monitor, maintain, and/or manage a budget.
May conduct research in regards to the program.
May assign work, monitor performance and prepare staff evaluations for any assigned staff.
Perform other duties of a similar nature or level. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position may require supervisory responsibilities when other employees are assigned to the project. If assigned, this role will directly supervise subordinate personnel in accordance with the Parish and program specific goals, priorities, deadlines, objectives, policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work assignments; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and three years experience in a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver's License as per State law or requirement.
