We deliver an effective, friendly and accurate experience and a warm welcome to all visitors.rnThis position reports to the Unit Manager, Visitor Services.rn rnEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesrnrnContributes to an outstanding visitor experience by providing a superior service during every interaction through reflective and active listening, addressing the customers' needs, providing information and assistance, and presenting a professional image for the Ohio History Connection.rnProjects warmth, caring and friendliness.rnClearly and accurately communicates product and services information in order to influence a customer's buying decision.rnResponsible for researching and resolving non-complex complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.rnAct as customer advocate providing the customers' feedback to appropriate Ohio History Connection department or program.rnProvides general assistance by answering incoming telephone calls to general information line; transferring calls appropriately; fulfilling requests and orders.rnResponsible for facilitating general and group admissions transactions as well as retail and food sales.rnProvides general assistance to the retail operations of the Ohio History Connection by arranging merchandise in bins and shelves; restocking counter supplies keeping shelves stocked full; completing internal sales transactions; and assisting in taking inventory.rnrn rnEducation and Experience:rnHigh school diploma or equivalent plus one to three years of customer service and/or sales experience.
