Job Description

Salary: $16-17/hr

Behavioral Health Care company seeking to fill the following position: Behavioral Health Tech.

Candidate will possess an accredited high school diploma or successfully pass the High School Equivalency Examination. Experience in a psychiatric hospital or residential treatment center is preferred. MHT or BHT certification is a plus.Must have a valid Nevada driver's license and must be willing to work weekends.

Position Summary

Highly vigilant in supervision, client whereabouts, and minimizing risks of clients.

Transporting clients in a company vehicle.

Observe clients self-administer their Medications.

Observe the clients' Drug Tests.

Continuously serves as a professional role model.

Uses strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with the treatment team.

Adjust approach to each client based on age, gender, and cultural considerations.

Assists in maintaining program function, including meal supervision and safety checks.

Deescalating crisis siutations.

Interprets client behavior or physical symptoms so that abnormal behaviors are recognized and reported.
