Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

1st Shift: 8AM - 5PM

Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

$18 / hour

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, experienced in operating various types of forklifts, and have a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness. This is a long-term position with opportunities for advancement and growth within a stable and supportive work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Unload inbound containers using forklifts (no manual unloading required).

Accurately perform put-away of palletized goods into racking systems.

Pick and stage pallets for outbound shipments based on pick tickets or system instructions.

Operate various types of forklifts, including Sit-down forklift, Reach truck, and Cherry picker / Order picker

Conduct daily forklift inspections and follow all safety procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse aisles and storage areas.

Assist in cycle counts or inventory control activities as needed.

Communicate effectively with warehouse team leads and supervisors.

Report any product damage or inventory discrepancies promptly.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on forklift experience in a warehouse environment.

Proven ability to operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication skills in both.

Excellent attendance record and a strong sense of responsibility.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and work on your feet throughout the shift.

Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team.

Willingness to work overtime when needed.
