Machine Operator - Metal Die Polisher

About this Role:

Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring Die Finisher-Polishers for a manufacturer in Columbus, NC. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity can lead to permanent hire.

Pay: $14.70/HR

Responsibilities Include:

Under minimal supervision, the Die Finisher Polisher will:

Polish the reduction angle of parts to the proper requirements.

Read and understand traveler and ISO instructions

Set angels using a protractor.

Select wires and thread them through the dies.

Measure die progress using a hand micrometer

Clean dies and label them according to their size.

Prepare for visual inspection.

Job Skills and Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Must pass an entrance test

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk on concrete floors for 8-12 hours per day.

Experience with WP-23 machine is preferred.

Must pass a pre-employment interview, background check, and drug screen.
