Visiting Angels provides in-home support services to seniors throughout Central Ohio, enabling them to stay at home and live independently with comfort and dignity. We're looking for a Part-Time, transitioning to Full-Time Office and Executive Assistant. (private office provided) You will play a crucial role in supporting the operation of our senior in-home care agency. However, a good chunk of your time is spent in the shared work area, either conducting interviews of prospective caregivers, or on filing, documentation, etc. • Supportive, relaxed, and friendly work environment with snacks and coffee. • Mileage reimbursement for travel related to job duties. • Training and development opportunities, learn this industry in and out, and gain rapid experience. • Meet and introduce new caregivers to our senior citizen clientele, and sometimes run errands out of office. • Manage the office while the Office Manager and/or CEO may be out of the office: answer phones, conduct interviews if they are scheduled, coordinate care. • Understanding and relaxed time off policy for family/health concerns. Responsibilities: • Support Office and Greet Visitors: Assist our managers and CEO with various administrative tasks, including taking phone calls/messages, checking employment references for applicants, conducting interviews (a simple process that you will be trained on), data entry, event planning, and more. • Field Support: Help procure necessary supplies and materials for our caregiving team and distribute important information to field employees. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel related to supply pickup/delivery. • Recruitment Support: Assist the recruitment manager with tasks related to hiring, such as completing reference checks, organizing interviews, and ensuring that all required documentation is in order. Perform interviews if the manager or CEO is out of office; this may be a regular responsibility (of course, we will train you, and you will follow a short, laid-out script). • Client Care Introductions: Accompany caregivers in the field to perform introductions to new clients. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you're comfortable and confident in this role Qualifications: • Prior administrative experience (in the health field, a plus) is preferred. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Compassionate and friendly demeanor. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage will be reimbursed). • HS Diploma is required; further education is not required. Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
