Position: Lead IT Security Engineer
Inceed has partnered with a growing and thriving company in the hospitality and recreational space to help find a skilled Lead IT Security Engineer to join their team!

Our client is seeking a well-rounded security expert who can wear multiple hats, run with projects independently, and proactively address findings from cyber scan reviews and NIST assessments. This company leverages Microsoft technologies heavily and needs someone who can not only maintain but enhance their security environment as they continue to grow. This isnt a siloed or rigid role — no strict boundaries or departments — just a supportive, flexible team where everyone pitches in. Responsibilities:
Own and drive multiple security initiatives and projects simultaneously.
Review cyber scan results and NIST assessments, identifying gaps and implementing necessary improvements.
Serve as the point person for security best practices across a variety of domains (network, application, cloud, etc.).
Collaborate with IT, leadership, and other departments to create and maintain a strong security posture.
Work independently, running your day and managing your workload with minimal oversight.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, threats, and evolving technologies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years of hands-on IT security experience across multiple areas (network, application, cloud, endpoint, etc.).
Strong experience interpreting and responding to cyber scans and NIST framework assessments.
Background working in a smaller team environment, with the ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks.
Excellent attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies and security tools.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
Prior experience building or leading security programs in a fast-paced, growing company.
Exposure to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities.
