Position Summary
Summary:
The Behavioral Health Data Analyst reports to the Administrative Director of Behavioral Health. The Data Analyst is responsible for compiling and reporting on the volume of the ambulatory behavioral health counseling centers and their programs and communicating with the Director on trends; identifying variances, analyzing their causes, and reporting them to the Director; assessing provider and therapist productivity and communicating with providers and the Director when metrics are either exceeded or not met; reporting program statistics to the Nassau County Department of Mental Health.

Must complete in-house orientation program
High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
Experience And Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Speaks, reads and writes English
Minimum of 2 years of administrative and secretarial experience preferably in behavioral health field
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
General knowledge of medical and psychiatric terminology
Must be able to collect and analyze data
Excellent judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
