Overview:

Our client, a global leader in AI and digital transformation solutions, is seeking a highly skilledAdobe Experience Manager (AEM) Technical Leadto lead acritical migration project to AEM 6.5for a prominentfinancial services client. This role demands deep technical expertise inheadless CMS architecture,GraphQL integration, andenterprise-scale AEM implementations. You'll lead a high-performing team to deliver scalable, future-ready digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable web applications usingAdobe Experience Manager 6.5.

Lead the migration from legacy platforms to amodern headless AEM architecture.

Build and maintain custom AEM components, editable templates, workflows, and content fragments.

Integrate AEM with third-party services and enterprise platforms usingGraphQLand REST APIs.

Implement headless delivery usingAEM Content ServicesandGraphQL APIsto support decoupled front ends.

Collaborate with UX designers, front-end developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

Ensure code quality viaunit testing, code reviews, and best development practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize AEM applications forperformance, security, and compliancein regulated environments.

Maintain up-to-date documentation on architecture, design, and development practices.

Mentor and guide junior developers andoffshore/nearshore teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

6+ years of hands-on experience withAdobe Experience Manager (AEM), including AEM 6.5.

2+ years of experience withGraphQLandheadless CMS implementations.

Deep understanding of AEM technologies:Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL/Sightly.

Experience withAEM Content Fragments, JSON exports, and Content Services.

StrongJava/J2EEbackground and backend development skills.

Proven experience integrating AEM with GraphQL/REST APIs and external systems.

Familiarity with front-end frameworks such asReact or Angular.

Strong DevOps know-how: Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and deployment toAdobe Managed Services (AMS)orAEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience working inregulated environments(e.g., finance, banking, insurance) is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) – AEM Sites Developer or Architect.

Experience with Adobe Analytics, Target, or Launch.

Background in digital personalization and optimization strategies.

Prior experience inenterprise CMS migration projectswithin thefinancial sector.
