Senior Network Engineer

CBTS is in search of a Sr. Network Engineer with expertise in Deploying HPE Aruba products including switches and Wired and Wireless Solutions.

This role is responsible for supporting ongoing projects to plan and deploy Aruba switches and APs, and Aruba wired NAC. These projects include, but is not limited to, network refresh initiatives and new builds. The position will assist the network team with architecture design, lead the configuration and support implementation of network communication technologies, and ensure that documentation is kept up to date with any changes. The focus will be on branch site firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi architecture, and installation.

Project: Aruba Central, Switch, and AP config/deployments coming up and to help with Aruba wired NAC deployment. Resource could be remote but will need to come onsite occasionally to rack/stack hardware for pre-staging/config before it's deployed to site and/or physical access to hardware.

Duties

o Design, deployment, and provide day 1 support for solutions that can be new, integrated with legacy systems, or upgrades of current systems with minor supervision.

Ensure proper configuration & customization to support the Enterprise environment for all locations.

Update topology documentation, configuration files as changes are made.

Perform installation, configuration, and operation of any new or existing data infrastructure device(s) and supporting software across the enterprise.

Qualifications

o 3+ years' experience in a multi-site, multi-vendor network environment, consisting of at least 1500+ endpoints.

o Must have experience with Aruba Central, Aruba Switches/APs, and Aruba ClearPass.

o Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is preferred.

o Able to prioritize workload & work effectively across multiple efforts / projects with limited supervision.

Education

Bachelor's degree in MS, IT / similar
