Bureau Veritas Iraq is looking to hire Technical Clerk based in Basra for an on-site position.

Position Summary

Support role for Lead Completions Engineer with primary focus on FIR management and commissioning documentation.

Key Responsibilities

FIR Management - Maintain FIR (Failure Investigation Report) register/database, register new FIRs, ensure template compliance per Defect Correction Procedure, coordinate review signatures from Capcon and project engineers, and redirect CTR/FAI responses/queries to dedicated project engineers. Obtain constant updates from project engineers to keep FIR register live and current, and track target completion days for each FIR

Commissioning Support - Assist Commissioning/Completion team with verification of completeness for commissioning and Mechanical Completion dossiers

General Administrative Support - Provide additional clerical and technical support for completion department activities as required

Required Skills

E&I Background - Electrical & Instrumentation engineering knowledge and experience

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficiency with database systems and document management

Understanding of engineering documentation processes

Excellent communication and coordination abilities
