Roles and Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain incoming and outgoing project documentation (submittals, drawings, correspondence, etc.). • Ensure all documents are correctly filed, labeled, and archived using proper document control protocols.
• Register and track submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and approvals using document control software or manual logs.
• Coordinate with engineers and project staff to ensure timely submission and retrieval of documents.
• Monitor document revisions and maintain a log of updates.
• Prepare transmittals, cover sheets, and submission packages for consultants/clients.
• Assist in compiling handover documents, O&M manuals, and project closeout files.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive project data.
• Follow up with team members for missing or overdue documentation.
Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Document Controller or construction companies (GCC preferred). • A bachelor's degree in business administration, library management, or record management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Familiarity with MEP terminology, submittal workflows, and project filing systems.
