POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Financial Services, the Student Worker provides customer service and administrative support to both the Student Financial Services department and the Office of the Registrar.
The Student Worker's time will be split between the two departments based on departmental needs.
Students who are hired must be eligible for the Federal Work Study program.

Position-Specific Responsibilities * Greet and direct students, staff, and faculty who visit the offices.
* Provide accurate information and guidance regarding financial aid and registration-related matters.
* Coordinate and execute general administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and record digitization.
* Maintain confidentiality and compliance with FERPA guidelines in all communications and documentation.
* Work collaboratively with both the SFS and Registrar teams to support departmental goals.
* Assist in communication efforts (email, phone, in-person) to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
* Support routine office processes such as form processing, document intake, and data entry.
* Acquire and apply working knowledge of federal financial aid regulations and institutional policies.
* Participate in training sessions to remain current with SFS and Registrar procedures.
* Perform other tasks as assigned by the Associate Director of SFS or Associate Registrar to support department operations.

QUALIFICATIONS Education * Eligible for the Federal Work Study program.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Competencies * Experience using Microsoft and Apple software.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to problem-solve.
