Job Description
Our Client is seeking a high-performing Head of Sales to actively hunt as well as lead additional sales hunters to grow their market space. You will be responsible for developing and growing corporate business, identifying the highest potential accounts within the company’s target market, maximizing the existing sales team’s potential through coaching and process improvement and partnering closely with Product and Marketing.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Partner cross-functionally with existing clients and new prospects to refine and advance the company’s sales GTM strategy and work aggressively to develop a roadmap to achieve realistic targets for the sales team.
Cater to the existing team and manage a high-performing team of sales executives covering multiple industries that are of existing and developing concern in the Cyber Industry.
Mentor, coach and develop the sales team as a player/coach, providing deal strategy and customer-facing high-level assistance and advising the team on how they can improve their performance and consistently over-achieve against sales goals.
Develop a strong culture of accountability and take ownership for consistent performance management, including having tough conversations and making tough decisions when necessary. Manage the sales team’s weekly operational cadence involving sales.
Provide accurate bookings forecasts and pipeline visibility to sales leadership. Partner closely with Marketing and Product to enhance initiatives and materials and recommend best practices and tools that will improve the effectiveness of the sales team.
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
Demonstrable experience as a Head of Sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions in a highly technical product offering B2B and B2B2C sales environment.
10+ years of robust sales experience within the SaaS landscape
Proven experience managing a team of 5+ direct reports
Proven experience negotiating and closing deals with $250k+ in annual value
Proven experience developing and growing a team, including interviewing, hiring, firing, etc.
Proven ability to position products and value proposition against competitors
Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
Persistence to achieve a high volume of outbound activity each day while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude
A willingness to implement feedback and coaching to improve conversion rates
The ability to multi-task while working in fast-paced environment
Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining a high-volume pace
Intense motivation and creativity to successfully reach prospects and create meetings

Salary & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is very competitive. Base salary is in the Mid to High 200’s range with a strong OTE plan for performers that is uncapped as well as a very robust equity plan that will be tailored to the individual.
