Job Title: Entry-Level OSP CAD Drafter

Location: Erie, PA (Onsite) REMOTE US ONLY

About the Role

Cyient is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level OSP CAD Drafter to join our team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in designing Outside Plant (OSP) telecommunications projects. If you're passionate about CAD design and ready to grow your technical skills, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

Support OSP fiber design projects using CAD platforms

Learn customer-specific design guidelines and telecom industry standards

Draft and update fiber optic cable routes, equipment locations, and underground structures

Interpret and input data accurately into proprietary software

Collaborate with engineers and designers on telecom infrastructure layouts

Deliver high-quality, error-free design packages on time

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred

Interest in telecommunications, utility construction, or related fields

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Professional communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proactive, self-motivated learner

Reliable transportation to and from the Erie, PA office

Preferred Background:

Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in engineering, drafting, networking, or related disciplines
