Network Engineer

My client is a Global manufacturer and is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with the abilities and background to handle the following:

The ideal candidate will maintain and update as necessary our Cybersecurity Infrastructure.

Maintain and update as necessary our Network Infrastructure.

Research, deploy, and update software as necessary by users.

Responsible for all security systems, vulnerability scanning systems, and training.

Maintain the company's IT infrastructure. Which includes Endpoint security, Domain Servers, and Exchange mail server.

Hardware security, reviewing all Edge and core switches, and wireless networks.

Maintaining the Hyper V environment, including the backup system that supports our virtual environment through daily health checks.

Updating all firmware where applicable on regular scheduled maintenance, based on Company Policy.

Daily review of Security operation Center alerts and logs.

Review and update network infrastructure as necessary.

Assist IT manager with Cyber-security and CMMC requirements.

Research latest Cyber security offerings to enhance the security posture for the company.

Train and provide troubleshooting assistance with the IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science or related area

3 - 5 years' of experience with network infrastructure/administration in a Windows environment.

Knowledge of VMware v Sphere, Veeam, SonicWALL NSA 3700, Fortinet, Netgear

Ideally, Certification/Licensure in Network+, Security+ and VMware

MUST currently be living in the Buffalo, NY area. Or be from the Buffalo, NY area with the desire to come back home
