Ab Initio Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, and Technical Repository.

Implement robust data models and processing logic for efficient data integration and analysis.

Automate data processes using Unix Shell Scripting for enhanced scalability and performance.

Design and maintain relational databases using DBMS and SQL ensuring data accuracy, quality, and availability.

Use External Schedulers to orchestrate and monitor ETL jobs for timely data delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the seamless integration of data into enterprise systems.

Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, processes, and data lineage.

Support visualization teams by preparing data pipelines for dashboards and maps.

Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Stay abreast of emerging trends in ETL and data technologies.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Ab Initio (GDE, Co>Operating System, Technical Repository).

Proficiency in SQL and DBMS systems for database design and optimization.

Hands-on expertise in Unix Shell Scripting for process automation.

Experience with External Scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, or similar).
