SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Office 365 Engineer with deep hands-on experience in administering, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments. This mid-level position requires strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, as well as Azure Active Directory (AAD), Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE). The ideal candidate will serve as Tier 2 support, proactively maintain the M365 environment, automate routine tasks using PowerShell, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations. A mindset for continuous learning and knowledge-sharing is essential.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer and manage the Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune and MDE).

Perform advanced automation and task management using PowerShell (e.g., license assignment, bulk updates).

Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, including policies, phone system configuration, meeting/conference settings, and call analytics.

Provide Tier 2 support for Exchange Online, including mailbox management, mail flow troubleshooting, and retention policies.

Handle OneDrive and SharePoint Online support, including permission management, sync issue resolution, and site customization.

Support and manage Intune (device enrollment, compliance policies, app deployment).

Operate and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and respond to endpoint-related alerts.

maintain and troubleshoot Azure Active Directory configurations, including SSO and conditional access policies.

Utilize Power Automate to streamline and improve business processes.

Coordinate with vendors for feature implementations or issue resolution.

Document configurations, procedures, and solutions for internal use.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing.

Monitor the environment for improvements, governance, and policy updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365/O365 environments.

Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration.

In-depth knowledge of O365 license models, feature sets, and service integrations.

Hands-on experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

Solid understanding of Azure AD, SSO, and Intune MDM operations.

Experience managing and responding to security incidents in MDE.

Familiarity with Power Automate / Form for business automation.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate (SC-200 or SC-300)
