Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, implementation, and management of secure and scalable IT systems across our retail operations. This role is responsible for maintaining strong cybersecurity practices and a reliable network infrastructure to ensure the protection of business and customer data, as well as smooth day-to-day operations across all store locations and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and VPNs to support a distributed retail environment.

Implement and manage cybersecurity controls to protect systems, endpoints, and data across both corporate and retail locations.

Develop and enforce security policies and procedures, including user access controls, device standards, and incident response protocols.

Manage identity and access management tools, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), to streamline access and enhance security.

Support compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS), working closely with stakeholders to ensure audit readiness.

Monitor for threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activity using endpoint detection and response tools and other cybersecurity platforms.

Lead security awareness efforts by supporting training programs and best practice initiatives for employees across the organization.

Collaborate with IT team members to support system administration, software deployments, and hardware provisioning aligned with security policies.

Provide expert guidance on current cybersecurity trends and evolving threats, supporting the company’s proactive risk management strategy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.

3–5 years of experience in network infrastructure and cybersecurity engineering

Proficient with configuring and maintaining firewalls, switches, and secure wireless networks.

Experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta or similar.

Familiarity with endpoint security platforms

Solid understanding of PCI compliance and other relevant security standards.

Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and excited about being part of a growing company!

Preferred Certifications:

CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
