Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer (Contract)

Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite in Lincoln, NE

Type: Long-term contract (12 months + 12-month extension)

Compensation: $75/hr. - $80/hr. W2 + medical benefits

Are you an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong .NET and AWS background? We’re looking for a Senior Developer to help modernize a legacy desktop application and migrate it to the cloud using Blazor and AWS.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Rebuilding a custom workflow application originally built in WPF + SQL Server using Blazor for web and AWS for cloud infrastructure.

Participating in full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Developing robust APIs, server-side logic, and front-end features with modern best practices.

Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Core.

Leveraging AWS services including Lambda, RDS (MySQL), CloudFront, S3, CloudFormation, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and more.

Required Experience:

5+ years of backend development experience in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and API development.

5+ years of front-end or full stack experience, ideally with Blazor or other modern web UI frameworks.

Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services, especially Lambda, RDS (MySQL), S3, CloudFormation, and related services.

Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.

Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL and MS SQL Server.

Understanding of Single Page Application (SPA) lifecycle and performance optimization.

Nice to have: familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).
