Cyber Security Engineer

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team supports the workforce by managing identity and access platforms across the organization. As a Software Engineer, you will help improve user experiences and strengthen security through modern IAM solutions, with a significant focus on Okta engineering and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Support large-scale IAM transformation projects.

Help migrate applications and services to Okta, including ADFS to Okta and Ping Federate to Okta transitions.

Manage and maintain Okta at scale within medium-to-large enterprises.

Ensure platform security using SSO, MFA, and identity federation technologies.

Collaborate to automate tasks, integrate APIs, and support IAM systems.

Troubleshoot network protocols and address certificate life cycle issues.

Work cross-functionally with teams across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem environments while maintaining high standards of security and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need:

5+ years in IT enterprise, focusing on identity/access management or similar fields.

3+ years expertise managing Okta at scale, including SAML, OAuth2, SCIM, and related protocols/standards.

Experience working with IAM-related technologies like Active Directory (Azure AD/AD), Ping, SailPoint, or BeyondTrust.

Hands-on skills in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell to automate tasks and improve processes.

Clear understanding of cloud platforms, security vulnerabilities, and core IT networking (TCP/IP, DNS).

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based planning.

Preferred Qualifications:

Okta Certifications (Administrator, Workflow).

Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field (Master’s is a plus).
