About the Role: We are currently seeking a driven, analytical, and collaborative Sales Operations Manager to support our growth initiatives and enhance the performance of our Sales organization. The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with the Vice President of Sales to streamline internal sales processes, improve reporting and data accuracy, and enhance overall sales effectiveness. This role will serve as a key liaison between the Sales team and other business functions, ensuring timely communication, operational alignment, and accurate CRM management. This position offers future growth potential for candidates interested in advancing within Sales leadership or transitioning into other strategic roles within the company.
Responsibilities:
Sales Process & Support:
Assist the VP of Sales with daily operations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Monitor and route digital inquiries and quote requests for timely and appropriate response.
Develop and implement follow-up mechanisms for digital sales leads.
Reporting & Analytics:
Create and distribute timely, accurate sales reports for internal stakeholders, including:
Monthly sales and quotation activity for top customer and target accounts.
Performance tracking for Manufacturers’ Representatives, including account mix and key targets.
Promotional calendar execution, including distribution of reports to appropriate channels.
Product launch announcements, ensuring proper communication internally and externally.
Monthly reporting compliance for Outbound and (as needed) Inbound Sales teams.
Ad hoc reporting as requested by VP of Sales.
Market Intelligence:
Assist with competitive market analysis and data collection, particularly in the Ventilation Systems segment.
CRM Management:
Maintain CRM accuracy by updating key account data, buying group memberships, and parent/child account hierarchies.
Conduct quarterly reviews of Manufacturers’ Rep territories and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure key contact information is current for top and target accounts.
Operational Communication:
Lead the creation and dissemination of weekly sales operational updates for senior leadership, including the CEO.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
As experience grows, represent the Sales team in designated company-wide initiatives.
Support new service model implementation and related follow-up activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM systems and ability to design or communicate reporting requirements.
Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proactive, accountable, and collaborative mindset; able to thrive in a team-driven environment.
