Client: Global Financial Services Firm

Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL

Work Type: Hybrid – Onsite 4 days/week starting Day 1

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in full lifecycle development of integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite.

Contribute to the ongoing migration effort from SOA to Java/Spring Boot Microservices architecture.

Develop and implement complex BPEL processes, OSB services, and other SOA components.

Collaborate with Java developers and architects on modernization strategies.

Create and maintain documentation, technical specifications, and unit test scripts.

Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

8+ years of hands-on Oracle SOA development experience.

Strong expertise in Oracle SOA Suite including BPEL, OSB, and at least one of the following: BRE, BPM.

Proven experience developing and deploying complex integrations using SOA technologies.

Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, XSD, and web service standards (SOAP/REST).

Ability to debug and troubleshoot SOA applications in a production environment.

Experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, or containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to Oracle Cloud or other cloud platforms.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be onsite from Day 1 (4x per week) at either Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.

This is a contract opportunity for 12 months with potential for extension.

Local candidates are preferred for faster onboarding; in-person interviews may be requested.
